  • All graduates are invited to participate in the Doula Mentorship offered upon completion of their classroom requirements. Mentorship provides new ways for doulas to continue gathering, engaging and growing along with trusted Canadian Doula Academy mentors. Our meet-ups often include celebrations of success, doula business discussions, processing challenging situations and resource sharing. Our goal is to offer a safe and supportive professional network as your new career is established.

  • The Canadian Doula Academy (CDA) is a globally recognized training academy rooted in Western Canada. We provide unequivocal in-person doula education, mentorship, certification and continuous learning opportunities. It is no secret Erin’s paternal grandmother’s teachings and love of family shaped her calling into this treasured profession,

As a DONA International Approved Birth Doula Trainer Erin has educated hundreds of doulas. She taught for many years at Mount Royal University in Calgary and shared knowledge for Gabriel Dumont Technical Institute’s Indigenous Birth Support Worker program in Saskatoon. Although she has now retired from teaching for DONA International, Erin is deeply committed to training and mentoring the next generation of doulas with the Canadian Doula Academy.
